Amber, Direct Care Worker I started working at Pathway in August 2008. It's such a joy and pleasure to have the opportunity to be a part of a ministry where I can help show other girls a better way to live their lives. Besides being a direst care worker and doing payroll at Pathway, I am currently enrolled at Mid Michigan Community College to pursue a degree in Medical secretary/Office Professional. I have always felt the calling to be apart of Pathway and I am so excited that this is a part of God's plan for my life. I love God with all my heart and I thank him for getting me to where I am today. I
love spending time with family and friends, shopping, walking,
and going on bike rides. In the near future I hope to marry my
best friend and the love of my life, Steve Cass Jr. |

Miriam,
Administrative Secretary I started at Pathway of Hope doing office work in July 2004. Shortly thereafter the opportunity to work directly with the girls arose and I jumped at it. After 2 years, I was asked to come back to the office and help with the organizational aspect of Pathway. To me, this was the opportunity of a lifetime. I enjoy both the administrative part and being a direct care staff. I love to sing and enjoy playing outdoor sports. I also enjoy taking the girls out individually for some special one-on-one time.

Terry,
Business Manager I have worked with Scott, the Director, before the doors of Pathway of Hope were opened. I heard his heart, saw his passion, and believed in the vision of helping these hurting and troubled teen girls. We've worked hard to make sure this is a home where true healing and help takes place. I live on a small hobby farm with my wife, Brenda. We have 7 children; ages 25, 23, 21, 19, 17, 15, and 9! I've been a CPA for over 30 years and have been in the mission field in Russia for 3 years.

Carla,
Direct Care Worker Pathway of Hope and I connected in November 2002. Besides working at Pathway, I have the privilege of taking some of the girls to church with me. Most of the girls here have had to deal with issues that no one should have to and I think it's nice to be able to do extra nice things for them. I want to show them that they are genuinely loved. My husband, Bud, and I enjoy camping with our boys in the Upper Peninsula. I also like to scrapbook, do crafts, and collect blue, green, and purple glass bottles.

Denise,
Direct Care Worker I began working at Pathway this November, 2006. I have had the privilege of working with children for 16 blessed years - including foster parenting teenage moms. My passion of working with these girls is what brought me to Pathway of Hope. I consider it a great joy if I can encourage one girl, or put a smile on one girl's face, or give a girl new direction with God. My husband Jim and I have 3 children; 2 girls and 1 boy. We enjoy our family time together being outside, biking, swimming, or hiking through the woods.

Katie,
Direct Care Worker I started working at Pathway in March 2007. After growing up in a licensed Foster Care home, I have been introduced to many young girls and boys "in the system." I have an adopted brother and sister, as well as 2 other brothers. I have enjoyed my summers working with the young children at Center Lake Bible Camp and look forward to spending time with the girls here at Pathway. I love playing the piano and singing on our praise and worship team at church. In my spare time I enjoy riding my horses.

Lisa,
Direct Care Worker God brought me to Pathway of Hope in September 2002. I feel that I have been called to be a servant. Because I have lived a hard life myself, I feel like I can relate to these girls and be a testimony of God's grace and mercy. I work hard to show them that they can have victory over situations and rise above the circumstances they have faced. My husband, Terry, and I have 5 children and have recently become grandparents. Besides doting on my 4 grandchildren, I enjoy gardening.

Rich,
Maintenance I have been with Pathway of Hope since it's beginning in November of 2001. God gave me a heart to serve. I can best do that at Pathway by building, fixing, and maintaining the grounds and house. This has been a fulfilling experience of ministry and hard work. I see the residents and staff of Pathway as a family to me. I am a retired engineer who takes pleasure in home improvements and gardening. I also enjoy seeing a project completed and done right!

, Direct Care Worker I started working at Pathway in September of 2007. I am from Indiana and moved to Michigan to work at Pathway. God has put a burden on my heart for the girls that I work with at Pathway. Most of my job experience is working with preschoolers so working at Pathway has challenged me to grow. I can say that the Holy Spirit is an amazing teacher. I feel blessed! I'm the oldest of 5 children. I spent 2 years on the mission field with my family in Russia. I like cooking, music, scrap booking, walking, traveling, movies and spending time with people.

, Direct Care Worker I came to Pathway in June of 2008. As a former foster child I feel I can relate with the girls here. I asked God to show me what job he wanted for me to do and I truly believe this is it. I have a passion for helping teens learn about life and what is to be expected after they go out on their own. I am married to a wonderful man named Charles, and we have 4 children, Ryan, Andrew, Nathanial and Makayla. We enjoy our family time together, our time with God and outdoor activities.
