Our Staff

Angela, Staff Supervisor,
Residential Case Manager/Counselor,
BA in Criminal Justice & Psychology

I started at Pathway of Hope in October 2004.  God made it clear to me that Pathway is where I needed to be and feel that Pathway is not only a ministry, but a family.  I have a passion for what I do and want nothing more than to help the girls who come here.

I married my best friend, Robert, in 1998 and we have 2 daughters and one son.  My favorite ways to relax and relieve stress is by going shopping, going to the beach, and playing outdoor sports with my family.

Rachel, Residential Case Manager/Counselor
BA in Elementary and BS in Social/Behavioral Science

Hi! My name is Rachel Fussman. I am from Mt. Pleasant, MI and I am a graduate of Central Michigan University. I have a BA in Elementary Education, and a BS in Social/Behavioral Science. I am newly married to my wonderful husband Nick. I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, taking long walks, camping, biking, and gardening.

In the short time I have been on staff here I can see that this is a place where miracles take place everyday. I feel God has brought me here to love and learn from these girls. I feel blessed to be apart of such a wonderful team dedicated to helping these girls.

Lisa, Administrative Assistant

God brought me to Pathway of Hope in September 2002.  I feel that I have been called to be a servant.  Because I have lived a hard life myself, I feel like I can relate to these girls and be a testimony of God's grace and mercy.  I work hard to show them that they can have victory over situations and rise above the circumstances they have faced.

My husband, Terry, and I have 5 children and have several  grandchildren.  Besides doting on my grandchildren, I enjoy gardening.

Terry, Business Manager

I have worked with Scott, the Director, before the doors of Pathway of Hope were opened.  I heard his heart, saw his passion, and believed in the vision of helping these hurting and troubled teen girls.  We've worked hard to make sure this is a home where true healing and help takes place.

I live on a small hobby farm with my wife, Brenda.  We have 7 children; ages 25, 23, 21, 19, 17, 15, and 9!  I've been a CPA for over 30 years and have been in the mission field in Russia for 3 years.

Traci, Direct Care Worker

My name is Traci Williams, I am a 2006 graduate of Lake City High School. After high school I attended Saginaw Valley State University for two years and in August of 2008 I married my best friend Andy. In February 2009 we began attending Res Life Church in Cadillac.

In May of 2009 God called me to Pathway to work in the lives of these girls. I coach little league and enjoy playing sports and reading my Bible . I am growing in my relationship with my savior everyday.

Denise, Direct Care Worker/Life Skills Coordinator

I began working at Pathway this November, 2006.  I have had the privilege of working with children for 16 blessed years - including foster parenting teenage moms.  My passion of working with these girls is what brought me to Pathway of Hope.  I consider it a great joy if I can encourage one girl, or put a smile on one girl's face, or give a girl new direction with God.

My husband Jim and I have 3 children; 2 girls and 1 boy.  We enjoy our family time together being outside, biking, swimming, or hiking through the woods.

Rhea, Direct Care Worker/SIL Provider
BA in Religious Education

Rhea began working at Pathway in June of 2005.  She had been working for a boys' home for the last 12 years and decided to make the move to work at Pathway.  Her husband, Jim, grew up on the mission field as a child, and in the early years of their marriage they worked at an Indian School in Arizona.  Rhea's heart is to meet the needs of the children on the mission field in Michigan.

Rhea and Jim have 4 boys.  One of them was adopted through the boys' home.  Rhea is active in the children's ministry at her church and enjoys reading, scrap booking, and walking.

I graduated from Reed City High School in 2008. After a few attempts to make my own plans work, God sent me on a blind search for passion. In January 2010 I came to Pathway. I have learned more about Gods love and healing through Pathway than I ever could have thought.

I will be marrying my high school sweetheart in August 2010. I pray that God can use me to shine his unending love to these girls

Casandra , Direct Care Worker

I came to Pathway in June of 2008. As a former foster child I feel I can relate with the girls here. I asked God to show me what job he wanted for me to do and I truly believe this is it. I have a passion for helping teens learn about life and what is to be expected after they go out on their own.

I am married to a wonderful man named Charles, and we have 4 children, Ryan, Andrew, Nathanial and Makayla. We enjoy our family time together, our time with God and outdoor activities.

Rich, Maintenance

I have been with Pathway of Hope since it's beginning in November of 2001.  God gave me a heart to serve.  I can best do that at Pathway by building, fixing, and maintaining the grounds and house.  This has been a fulfilling experience of ministry and hard work.  I see the residents and staff of Pathway as a family to me.

I am a retired engineer who takes pleasure in home improvements and gardening.  I also enjoy seeing a project completed and done right!

Raquel, Direct Care Worker  BS in Broadcasting/Speech Child Development Associate Credential

I started at Pathway of Hope in September 2009. By reflection on all life's experiences, God has shown me so much about myself, others and Himself. I'm excited that He has led me here to lead the girls in positive self discovery and be part of this family atmosphere.

My husband and I care for our two school age boys. All four of us care for our golden lab/retriever, Desi. We enjoy outdoor activities and getting together with friends and extended families.
